Sabrina Vaz was born in Windsor, Ontario. She was born to sing. As soon as she was able to walk, she was either humming or singing a song. At the age of 3, when asked what she was going to be when she grows up, she would tell everyone, “I am going to be a famous singer one day”. Sabrina never played with dolls, dollhouses or dress up clothes, by her own choice, she played with microphones. She would lie on her bed or stand in front of a mirror singing into a mike. Sabrina has been dancing and swaying to many genres of music. As a little girl Sabrina would fall asleep listening to Ricky Martin with a microphone in her hand. Sabrina has an older sister named Samantha. Sabrina’s Dad who has a Portuguese background, has been performing in bands around the city for years. Her dad always wanted to be a famous “rock star” but never had the opportunity to make it happen. Once he noticed Sabrina’s singing talent, he went to work! Sabrina’s and her dad write her songs. Sabrina’s mother’s name is France, she comes from a French background, born in Quebec. Sabrina works really hard at so she can be the best she can be. Many hours of practice, vocal exercise and classes keep her busy but she never tires of singing.
